ABS & ECOVER PRODUCTS - CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Designed for long-lasting performance and refined aesthetics, ABS components with a matte finish require gentle and regular care.

Following these guidelines helps preserve the surface quality, functionality, and visual integrity over time.

ROUTINE CLEANING

  • Clean using a soft microfiber cloth;
  • Use lukewarm water with a mild, neutral detergent;
  • Wipe gently, without excessive pressure;
  • Dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth to avoid streaks or marks.

Best practice: frequent, light cleaning maintains the uniform matte finish and prevents residue build-up.

PROPER USE & PRECAUTIONS

  • Do not spray liquids directly onto the surface;
  • Always apply water or detergent to the cloth first;
  • Avoid prolonged contact with water or moisture.

When using a new cleaning product, test it on a small, hidden area before full application.

PRODUCTS & TOOLS TO AVOID

To protect the matte finish, do not use:

  • Alcohol, acetone, or aggressive solvents;
  • Abrasive, cream-based, or polishing detergents;
  • Rough sponges, scouring pads, or hard brushes;
  • Steam cleaners or high-pressure water jets.

These may permanently alter the surface appearance.

LIMESCALE REMOVAL – WHAT NOT TO USE

For mineral deposits or limescale, avoid:

  • Vinegar, lemon, or acidic solutions;
  • Strong descaling or anti-limescale products;
  • Abrasive pads or rough cloths.

Such products may cause whitening, discoloration, or unwanted polishing of the matte surface.

MAINTENANCE PHILOSOPHY

Gentle, regular care is the most effective way to:

  • Preserve the original aesthetic;
  • Ensure long-term performance;
  • Extend the product’s lifecycle;

Thoughtful maintenance reflects the same attention to detail that defines responsible hospitality solutions.
